SKH has, together with KTH, KMH and Konstfack, created the sound and light installation “Circadia Waves: Resonances” which will be displayed outdoors at the Swedish Museum of Performing Arts. The installation will be shown during Nobel Week Lights 2-10 December.

International cooperation is an important part of education and research at SKH. Through an active dialogue with external partners and close cooperation with universities around the world, we strengthen the quality of our education and research and give students and staff the possibility to develop.

At SKH we train the independent and artistically aware film makers, radio producers, documentary filmmakers and animators of the future. As a student with us, you will develop your practical and theoretical knowledge within your specialisation, both individually and in collaboration with other students. You become part of a larger context that constantly develops knowledge, the art form and the industry.

SKH looks at several aspects of circus as an art form and offers educational programmes, courses and research in circus. Doctoral students and research teachers in circus generate new knowledge in artistic research. The circus education at SKH constitutes an international environment with students and teachers from all over the world. Programmes and courses are given in English.

At SKH we educate and research in dance and dance pedagogy. With us, you can choose to train as a dancer or choreographer, or as a dance teacher or teacher in dance in upper secondary education, for a professional career in dance education.
